IGN: Guitar Hero III: Dragonforce Pack Hands-On

Guitar Hero III proved to be the test of all tests for plastic axe-wielders worldwide with the most difficult set list of any music game to date (on these shores, at least). However, nothing in the last couple skill-testing sets compared to the bonus song that awaited those who managed to defeat Louie: Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and the Flames". The track was mind-numbingly filled with notes that only the ultra-elite could complete on Expert.

Well, Dragonforce is coming back to Guitar Hero III with not one but three new tracks in the aptly-titled Dragonforce Track Pack. Hitting Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store tomorrow, the pack will contain the songs "Heroes of Our Time", "Operation Ground and Pound" and "Revolution Deathsquad". IGN had the chance to try all three tracks today, and just like that time they flew to New Jersey, their arms sure are tired.

Guitar Hero? Sure. Activision greed and bulls**t? No thanks.

No we DONT need guitar hero or rockband. These games have had 7+titles each console cycle and Im tired of these being the mainstream and practically only focused on musical game.

Amplitude was brought back for PS4 yet with the tech and magic of DLC we didnt get it because not only gamers but devs have become out of touch.

Thumper impressed many and is at least a step in the right direction. I rather have more games like thumper. So screw all this rockband and Guitar hero BS! Take your guitars and peripherals and break them in half!
