SSL: The Japanese multinational firm could be thinking of making its presence known en masse at E3 2016
To sell the console yes. They need the mind share to as many people as they can get at the event.
Nintendo don't need fluffy large E3 Presentation. They needs hard-hitting controversial E3 Presentation. "Make Gaming Great Again" "Make Gaming Sexy Again" "All Games 1080p 60fps" "Supplemental Computing Device, 4K/3D experience" "JRPGs, JRPGs, JRPGs" "Xenoblade X graphics upgrade" "Splatoon Massive Online Multiplayer" "Fun" "Nintendo Entertainment System" "$199" With this list, Easy Win for Nintendo.
It would be better if they did a traditional E3 stage event to reveal NX.
It needs to be a bigger "stage" than last year that's for sure. Nintendo NX will get the most press at this year's E3 without a doubt. Nintendo should be very smart about how it rolls out this next era of consoles/handhelds. And my body is freakin' ready...
well if they are showcasing a new console then it would be a good idea.
If they are showing their new console then they should.
Yes. they'll show the NX. hopefully they make it a big one. great launch titles and great trailers. solid hardware specs etc.
I'd like for them to do an E3 to show off the NX. Be great to have all the big 3 on stage again this year.
They definitely need to. It's a new console that's rumored to be running as fast as the Xbox One. Give that hardware a proper stage.
Imagine if the NX was one big lie and all they could reveal was a bunch of kiddie games like a new Animal Crossing. That would probably be the most disappointing Nintendo E3 ever. I do have big hopes for Nintendo this E3 though and believe they will capture the people in a big way with their NX reveal. This time Nintendo need to make this console bigger than any of their other consoles. Not some gimmicky console that doesn't support third party games like Wii U.
I think they already said that they would use a proper Press Conference whenever they were going to introduce new hardware. But honestly, I hope that they do both. I am fine with the videos, better production value too. That said I hope that they are better able to show the hardware and the concept of the hardware "this" GEN.
