"Over the last few years we have seen countless JRPGs localized that very few would have ever thought would be possible due to what a massive undertaking the translation would be. A few of these just so happen to fall under The Legend of Heroes series and with XSEED handling both the first and second chapters of Trails in the Sky, they have opted to continue the series with the most recent trilogy, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. With the second title already being localized, does the first Trails of Cold Steel offer an experience worth sinking your teeth into?"
If you're familiar with the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series, it has some really beautiful mecha, and a new model kit is now up for preorders.
Total sales for the Trails series of The Legend of Heroes games have surpassed seven million units worldwide, developer Falcom announced.
If Final Fantasy is my favorite JRPG franchise then Legend of Heroes: Trails is my 2nd favorite. Severely underrated series... It has it's fans but it should be a bigger deal if you ask me.
7 million ain't bad but it should be even more.
Well i hope thats good enough for them to understand that we in the west enjoy these games to and bring what hasnt been out over maybe some older ones get re released on playstation and switch and hire more to help translate faster. Good for loh
Right now my top 3 jrpg's are
1. Persona
a tie between Legend of Heroes(series) and Final Fantasy(series)
This game is underrated and the sale should be more
Today Nihon Falcom announced with a press release that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series will get an anime.
So many good reviews on this game.. Im going to start it up soon. Screw Far Cry
