Project X Zone 2 Review (Invision Community)

Gameplay is great, and again, not much has changed from the first game, but nothing really needs too. You take turns to move your characters around the map, grid, turn based style, and go up to an enemy. I did really enjoy playing this title recently, and it's certainly worth a look. I will say that the 10/10 rating is a touch too high, however. I found the story pacing really slow, and the combat got repetitive after a while, with no extras to really change things up. That being said, I really loved the banter between characters and the amount of detail that has gone into making every character look and act like themselves.

Hated the first project X zone so I find it hard to believe this second can be 10, considering I played the demo of this one and so I know the combat is still the same, which is to say basic and repetitive

That's fair enough. If the first game wasn't to your liking, then you're not going to enjoy the second. It's essentially using all the same basics, just updated and improved.

TBH everyone's opinion is neither right or wrong, that's the best thing about an opinion, you either agree or disagree..
