I intended to platinum it, but I never went to see the complete list of trophies until not too long ago. I said to myself back then : "the hardest one must be getting a+ every stages", but no. They had to include a "complete all worlds without dying once" for each world, including the dark world versions! How crazy is that ?!?!?!

I don't bother going after the platinum if the becomes too much of a chore and makes the game not fun anymore. I hate online trophies so usually don't platinum any games that have with the exception of a few.

There are two more that definitely need to be on this list. Elder Scrolls Online for the Emporer trophy, possibly the most BS trophy of all time. I’d also nominate Wolfenstein 2 for the absolutely retarded Mein Leben trophy. I’d give an honorable mention to Super Meat Boy too.

Normally I still play games I know I'm not going to platinum, but when I saw that complete BS wolfenstein trophy for completing the game on the hardest setting without dying once, I didn't bother with the game at all.

Speaking of platinums I couldve gotten $20 from the sony reward for my near 20 platinums since they added trophies to the rewards but notice last week I didn't unlocked the challenges before hand and they don't count.

Yeah, I've been taking advantage of that. Sucks that it isn't retro active as I had about 110-120 platinums when it started, but oh well, Still ended up getting a very heavy discount on god of war thanks to that.

Yep its worst when there's only one trophy that requires online that just requires you to send gifts to friends (darksiders2), and glitched trophies that's never fix. Also to note grind fest trophies that requires a large amount of something which you already gotten all the other trophies 20hrs before it. Makes you want to give up on it.

Yeah went back to play gta 4 for the trophies recently and the fun story but the online was mostly abandoned so couldn't unlock any trophies

Dark Souls platinums come to mind. Not because the games are hard. That can be overcome. But because the INSANE grinde to collect weapons, spells, miracles, rings...what have you. Now I'm suffering on DSR because have to collect......😡

Killzone 2 and Resistance 2. This list is extremely pitiful compared to really unfairly hard platinum trophies. Killzone 2 required 2 weeks of dedicated grinding to get in the top 1% of the entire online community. Resistance 2 required and absurd amount of hours to be put in. Both of these games have to be played/platnumed while their services are running. Let’s not get started on games like Warhawk.

Killzobe 2 and Resistance 2 werent bad f0r me just because im good at online shooters. But getting those Warhawk ranks was super time consuming. I never even finished and I played the hell out of that game

The game Pain on the ps3 has been one of the toughest platinum trophies to get, at least for me. I've been working in it for years... only 63% ughhh. Great game though.

Haha leave it to Ninja Gaiden. Those games were fucking hard. I will platinum games that are reasonable and I want to continue playing. But as soon as they go "collect all _____" I just stop. I'm not ticking boxes off of a map.

The difficulty of the game was fine and I got all the trophies of the single player story mode. Then came the trophies for the co-op missions where you had to fight 3 or 4 bosses at the same time. The AI co-op partner was crap so you had to rely on finding a good co-op buddy with a good connection to be able to clear it. I could never find a good player or good connection to complete those.

The Last of Us. Uncharted's trophies were all single-player trophies, with the exception of playing a specific mode to get you to try new multi-player modes but weren't bad. All of the multi-player trophies from that point on were instead medals so you didn't have to do multi-player if you didn't want to but if you did, you were still rewarded but I got all of Uncharted's Platinum Trophies. The Last of Us changed that and is the only Naughty Dog Platinum I've never been able to get and my OCD is killing me. Why haven't I gotten The Last of Us multi-player platinum trophy? Multi-player.
