Doc Watson from GamersFTW writes: "With every Pokémon game announcement, we go through the same rigmarole: new region, new Pokemon, new rival, new coat of paint. But the announcement of Pokémon Sun and Moon is somewhat more significant: they are announced in celebration of Pokémon's twenty year anniversary. There is a lot to consider in creating a game to celebrate this legacy: what does Pokémon Sun and Moon have to do to maintain Pokémon's illustrious place in video game industry?"
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company's Pokemon Gen 10, codenamed Gaia, will be exclusive to the upcoming Switch 2, based on a new rumor.
Is anyone expecting anything less? It will be exclusive to Switch 2 eventhough it will still look like a 3DS game
not surprised.
nintendo was prepared to have some games sell the console.
im sure the game will still look like its from the ps2 era tho.
I've lost interest in pokemon, the mega evolve stuff was a poor digimon rip off, then the stuttering mess the 3d versions are.
I'd love a remake of gold/silver in a top down view like lets go pikachu had, but sticking with the traditional pokemon mechanics.
Pokecology is a real book based on the behavioral science and ecology of Pokemon, and it's coming (to Japan) in mid-June.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are set to receive upgrades for the Nintendo Switch 2 to improve performance when the new console launches later this year.
Roight excited for this but I do find myself less enamoured with the newer games - still great but there's nothing like the originals.
I know this will always be a dream but having a Pokemon Rainbow Collection with all of the regions combined into one game would be amazing.
I wish the newer games were a bit harder, maybe with a difficulty option. But that's really just picking out something little. I've never been disappointed with a Pokemon game so I'm sure these games will be good.
