Matt from GamersFTW writes: Yes, it’s great that you might be able to play a reasonable Fallout equivalent on the go having just reached into your pocket – but honestly the authentic feel of a miniature games console can rarely be beaten. As much as I have faith that mobile gaming could be reasonably successful, I just prefer the idea of separation. I don’t necessarily want to be interrupted by social life when I’m steaming through Candy Crush or building a community on Fallout Shelter. It’s just better, I think to have the two things separate.
Some of my good friends at Geekly gave me a call and asked if there were some games that I could recommend for their readers this Easter and I was more than happy to oblige. So here are ten eggcellent games for all you kids (and adults) to enjoy this Easter holiday!
There are very few video games in my life that I have enjoyed more than the two Red Dead Redemption titles and so that got me thinking about the many Wild West based games of the past. In fact cowboy-themed games have been around since the very dawn of our favourite hobby in one form or another, and so I thought now would be a good time to look back at what came before.
Even heroes need a little time to themselves, but which game has the finest facilities? We review some of the most eminent options…
I prefer handheld over mobile gaming, feels more natural.
You can't beat a proper control surface. Touch just isn't satisfactory for proper gaming. The games on mobile are generally terrible anyway, and all of the decent ones play better when ported to 3DS or Vita :p
sad to say but would buy if it emulates other consoles (former as in snes, nes, genesis, saturn,etc...) so I can play those with a controller rather than touch. I like a dedicated device for games only, I do play on my galaxy note sometimes, but not as much as my 3ds or my vita.
No there isn't.
The 3DS didn't show that already?
