Stephanie Smith writes: "The Seed really has had a rough time during the course of its development. It was due out in 2014 but didn't hit that target, but kept working. If nothing else The Seed is an example of the tenacity of developers on Kickstarter. Despite overshooting its £15k goal and hitting nearly £21k ($30k) in funding back in August, the developers announced they'd exhausted their funding, but would keep working. It doesn't look like it'll be long until we see the fruit of their labour."
The team at Misery Dev Ltd. decided to create their own contextual choice system for their post-apocalyptic interactive novel, The Seed.
Misery Dev of post-apocalyptic visual novel The Seed on working with an eco advsior on creating an authentic world using ecology and biology.
Stephanie Smith writes: "Last we heard about The Seed, this post-apocalyptic visual novel come RPG from Misery Dev, the developers were out of money. There were mentions of a break in and loss of data that had left us all wondering what would become of this atmospheric little project. Personally, I didn't expect to be seeing progress so soon. Back in August 2015, the developers declared that there was still 20% of the game left to be finished and vowed to keep working. They seemed optimistic despite their grievances and assured backers they'd be able to pull through."
This is definitely on my list of anticipated games this year. I loved the Misery mid.
Super excited for this one, near the top of my most anticipated list.
