Nice improvements to an already nice looking game

Alexious3134d ago

Indeed, can't wait to try it at 4K on PC.

OpieWinston3134d ago

Pretty sure Iron Galaxy is handling the PC version and as we can tell they're apparently better at optimization for console then PC. (Just looking at Arkham knight)
Hoping they've learned from their mistakes.

Mikefizzled3134d ago (Edited 3134d ago )

Don't paint a big team with the same brush from what apparently was a small team who didn't have the money, manpower or time to release Arkham Knight up to scratch. Look at MK X when it launched on Steam. Chances are that WB don't spend much on PC versions.

Except he didn't say games below 4k are not enjoyable nor imply it...

Ok...so how does this work? I mean...is every season a separate release and you have to pay for each of them or is this an update for everyone who bought the 1st season like Driveclub?

Isn't it too much if the game already has 3 entrances when this gen is still barely 2 years old?

xasz3133d ago (Edited 3133d ago )

@badz149

Every update and mode that comes with each season is added automatically to the base game for free, regardless of the version.

Each season costs $20. The base game itself is free and comes with a free rotating character.

Basically, the only thing you're paying for are characters. Each season has 8 characters. (There were 9 in Season 2)

@DLConspiracy

Just cause you put a question mark behind a sentence doesn't automatically make it a question.

It was obvious what your intent was and it came through pretty clear. Seems you was fishing and the only thing you hooked was yourself.

@brokasfawk

Agreed.This game is so much fun. Haven't enjoyed a fighting game this much in a very long time. There is so much content and stuff to do (solo and online multiplayer modes) and the net code is spot on. The shadow brain feature is pretty cool too. Can't wait for Sn3. Arbiter and Tusk day one.

Blaze9293133d ago

never heard of a game continuously getting better with time graphically haha. Devs are great

badz1493133d ago

the Crew? Dying Light? Driveclub? nothing?

bouzebbal3133d ago

hmmm.. you mean like 99% of the games. sequels always look better.

donthate3133d ago (Edited 3133d ago )

abzdiine:

Technically this isn't a sequel though like going from Mass Effect 1 to 2. It is slightly unusual for a game to get graphical upgrades like this, but is most definitely welcome.

Personally, I don't think it matters much. The game was great to begin with!

Pixels are overrated and gives diminishing returns at this point!

Orionsangel3133d ago

Do we all get this graphical update or just owners of Season 3? Why can't I just buy everything? What's this whole season thing? Weird. Remember when you just bought a game that didn't come in parts?

Yea damn developers continuing to support their games! Charge us 60 dollars every time you add new stuff instead... Jeeeez

xasz3133d ago

Every single update, outside of characters, is automatically added to the game for free, even if you have the free version.

Also, it's not a full-priced game. It starts at free, to each season costing $20.

lvl_headed_gmr3133d ago

The best fighting game this generation this far just keeps getting better.

Orionsangel3133d ago

@xasz Thanks for the info!

Looking good, though I don't think it was ever going to be a game that should make even the Xbox one struggle.
