Tales of Berseria Shares A Closer Look At Rokuro And Eleanor

Bandai Namco recently revealed details on two new characters Rokuro and Eleanor for their upcoming RPG Tales of Berseria, and this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine gives us a closer look at the two.

As previously reported, Rokuro is a happy-go-lucky young swordsman, who is actually a Daemon but still maintains reason. He follows Velvet due to a debt he owes her after a certain incident. He greatly values the great sword on his back, which he calls “the great sword of life,” but he usually fights using dual blades.

Eleanor is part of the anti demon organization, “Malak.” She has a kind personality to most people, but shows a cold-hearted side to those that bare teeth towards the Malak.

I hope that western markets can receive this game this year. There's usually a couple of months long gap from the time a Tales of game releases in Japan and where it releases everywhere else

Remember when we had to wait years? Man Im glad bamco isn't ignoring the west.

Why couldnt somebody like Rokuro be the main character? I like the Tales series but god damn do i hate the main characters in these games.

The Tales Of series are some of the best RPGs I've ever played, and the characters are a big reason for that. I don't think I played a single game in the series that I didn't enjoy. Rest in peace.

Damn, that sucks to hear... His designs were always wonderful.

RIP, sheade some great designs, man it's one after the other this year

FinalFantasyFanatic406d ago

We're 3 months into the year and I feel like we're taking nothing but L's.

autobotdan407d ago

Wow she was the character designer for Tales of Destiny one of my favorites of all time =(

scorpio_2049407d ago

I love the Tales games. Phantasia will always be my favorite. Ironically I felt like as the series progressed the character design became too “anime cliche.”

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK640d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder639d ago (Edited 639d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

raiden_188639d ago

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

Why Do Birds Fly? The Moral Philosophy of Tales of Berseria

This strange sentence is not an excerpt from a book on falconry. Nor is it a question from a biology exam or a promo for the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s from the 2016 Bandai Namco RPG Tales of Berseria.
.
The game’s primary antagonist, Artorius Collbrande, uses this question as a means of evaluating people’s moral principles. But how does a basic question about the biology of birds tell us anything about someone’s morality?
