Viveport, the VR retail platform from HTC is now giving developers 90% of their game revenue, instead of a 70/30 spilt like Steam.
It could be free and it wouldn't matter at this point. There isn't really a PCVR Market and I say that as a PCVR user. It is modders and enthusiasts with a few retail products on Steam.

I'd rather wait for the pascal video cards at this point to upgrade my video card. A lot more powerful and they will be the same price as current cards. Except the Titan X 12GB, any cards out at the moment including the 980 ti is gonna be useless.

Well... I am pleasantly surprised to find that this isn't just some simple-minded marketing labeling. They actually put a little thought into reducing wiring and clutter that most people are going to face when they get their VR headsets.
