With the arsenal of tools and items in Super Mario Maker, one player managed to create a working calculator. Yes, it's insanely awesome.
Cool but considering that Little Big Planet did this 8 years ago but LBP was deliberately built around letting players experiment with different styles of gameplay, while Mario Maker pretty much only cares about Mario-style 2D platforming. The “logic” in this level seems to be all timing-related shenanigans built around pieces moving & blocks breaking at specific moments. Which is less impressive from the perspective of someone looking to build, but makes the actual accomplishment that much more impressive.
I can't tell whether you like this, hate this, or just wanted to gush about how LBP did it...
Comparing LBP to Mario isn't wise.
