You know... MS doesn't have to do everything that Sony does.

Vengeance1138217d ago

Oh God... I can only imagine the astronomical interest rate on this thing lol Much like all "gimmick" mastercards.

darthv72217d ago

Its pretty close to the Playstation Visa I linked above.

Jin_Sakai217d ago (Edited 217d ago )

“Oh God... I can only imagine the astronomical interest rate on this thing“

Xbox Mastercard:
20.99%, 26.99% or 31.99%, based on your creditworthiness.

32.49% APR for Cash Advances

PlayStation Visa:
19.24%, 25.24%, or 27.99%, based upon your creditworthiness.

26.99% APR for Cash Advances

EasilyTheBest217d ago

You are actually pointing out the PlayStation card is better. Wow.

Eonjay217d ago

@EasilyTheBest

Sure better for consumers but what about Microsoft's needs? Get your priorities straight bro.

senorfartcushion216d ago

Oh my god you're actually fanboying over credit cards

Wtf?!

😅😂

franwex217d ago

Meh. It would be cool if it included Game Pass or something.

EvertonFC217d ago

I'll give some advice, never have a credit card, never take a loan out and always pay cash.
You'll thank me for it later.

Leeroyw216d ago (Edited 216d ago )

How did you buy your house?
Edit: I still liked your comment as the principle is sound. Just not an all or nothing rule.

EvertonFC216d ago (Edited 216d ago )

Mortgage is different, I'm talking don't take a loan out for a new kitchen, dont take credit on a TV or sofa etc.
You'll live In debt for the rest of you're life otherwise.
72% of families are over £10,000 or more in debit on there credit cards, loans on kitchens, monthly payments on the family car etc and wonder why they have to work until there 70.

mkis007216d ago (Edited 216d ago )

Well if you are responsible you can make money...use them as a debit card not a credit card. Cards can have 5% back, and as long as you pay it back immediately with your cash, there is no downside. On one card alone I'm getting back at least $600 per year. Paid with cash or debit that is gone. Do not carry a balance EVER.

It's good advice for people who don't know better.

Sephiroushin216d ago (Edited 216d ago )

i have credit cards and they always on 0, i take advantage of the cash back they provide and extended warranty if they are signatured cards, they are also good for traveling, if you have a business some are great as well and there is no better way to make money than buying with a credit card for your business, after all businesses make money off other businesses anyway ...
you should not use a credit card if you're bad with finances, you should not take something on credit if you cant afford to pay on the time w/ no interest, or a loan unless completely necessary (hospital) since you could get in mayor debts!

You need great or better yet excellent credit score for a mortgage, unless you want to pay astronomical monthly payment because the interest you got it for was the highest since you never made credit!

EvertonFC216d ago

"you should not use a credit card if you're bad with finances, you should not take something on credit if you cant afford to pay on the time w/ no interest, or a loan unless"

That's the problem most are NOT. My mates over £10,000 on his cards yet gets paid £19p/h in his job but is constantly not living within his means.
He might look like he's doing ok but it's all getting paid off every month which leaves him nothing, he hates his job but can't leave cause of all the payments etc.
I think most live like that imo, pretend to keep up with the Jones but in reality owe it all to someone.

Sephiroushin215d ago

@EvertonFC
the problem there is not the credit cards, it is his behavior; banks do take advantage of these kind of people; credits cards are not bad, bad are people who buy on impulse, I never buy anything i cant pay like now, unless its a car a house .

And yes most people live like that, I know a millionaire that his assets are worth his debts so basically he has nothing, but that give him power on his circle which is what many people do. Many people live off appearances, but again CC are not bad, unless you cant control yourself, its just like a weapon, dont have one if you cant control yourself!

rippermcrip216d ago (Edited 216d ago )

* if you can't control yourself. Don't just give blanket advice because there are a lot of people who can't control themselves.

Nothing wrong with any of that if you aren't an idiot. Credit cards can save you hundreds of dollars in cash back. They can have tons of perks.

There's nothing wrong with loans either if the rate is okay.

CoNn3rB216d ago

I tried to live life without a credit card but unfortunately a lot of things in life require a credit score. Best practise is to have a credit card but only use it sparing and when you NEED to.

Vengeance1138216d ago

If you're completely incompetent with money sure, otherwise having a credit card is perfectly fine.
Just like drinking, all it takes is being responsible. Loads of advantages over cash, you think people are going to have thousands of dollars in their wallet for a new tv?? There are limits to how much you can take out in a single day.
Just use a card, it'll simplify your life. Physical cash shouldn't exist in this age, too impractical.

EvertonFC216d ago

You can use a debit card instead of a credit card to buy a TV, when I pay cash I mean pay with a card with money you have saved not go to the bank 12 times to get the money out pmsl.
"All it takes is being responsible" that's the problem nobody is, people are living decent lives hiding behind debt, I can guarantee you you're friends might have a nice kitchen, or nice soglfa or TV but it's all on credit.
You ONLY need to see stats for that.

Soileh216d ago

Nobody listen to this guy. Completely incorrect. Credit is a valuable resource, you should be maximising your credit rating, your lines of credit, and so on. Many people misuse credit cards but you're severely hindering yourself if you're not utilising it throughout your life.

EvertonFC216d ago

48 and retired, no credit cards, no loans etc. Everyone I know is going to have to work until there 70 because of kitchen loans, credit card debts etc.
Like I said stats show 78% of people are more than £10,000 owed on CC.
Everyone I know goes into the new year in debt cause they've bought everything on the CC for Xmas etc.

EasilyTheBest216d ago

EvertonFC
Same here retired no credit cards ever no loans had 25 year morgage paid off in 8 years. Save to buy if you possibly can & wait.

Soileh215d ago

Just because people are bad with credit doesn't make credit itself bad. Not hard to understand.

Xbox Store Gets Ubisoft Buy One Get One Sale Till December 15 for Select Games

The Xbox Store is running a Buy One Get One promo for select Ubisoft games till December 15, including titles such as Far Cry 6 and AC Valhalla.

franwex499d ago

Buy one, get basically the same game with a different setting sale.

MadLad499d ago (Edited 499d ago )

Crap sale.
Nothing is discounted. Selling a bunch of older games at premium prices just to make the "buy one get one" seem appealing.
Valhalla deluxe edition has been as cheap as $20 on console.
Half the games are on gamepass.

Just wait a few weeks and most of these games will be cheaper than what your getting from this "deal".
