Connected Digital World writes: It’s the turn of a new year, and a turn of fortunes for PS4-owning Call of Duty fans. Not only have Treyarch and Activision had their faith in the series rewarded by fans’ overwhelming response to this year’s entry, but the DLC’s timed exclusivity has now switched over to the PlayStation nation. It’s the mostly usual affair with ‘Awakening’, four multiplayer maps (including a remake) plus another entry into the ever popular Zombies saga.
Gareth at Skewed and Reviewed has posted some gameplay video from the Zombie mode of the new Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC The Awakening. In Der Eisendrachen, up to four players battle the undead to survive. The video shows some of the special weapons and even a boss battle.
Gareth at Skewed and Reviewed has posted a positive review for the latest DLC for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III. He liked the mix of old and new as well as the new Zombie episode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s season of DLC kicks off now with the first map pack, Awakening. As part of a deal with PlayStation, Awakening and all subsequent DLC packs release first on PS4. Adding three new maps, a remake of a Black Ops II map and a brand new Zombies experience, Awakening is sure to set the tone for all future DLC. Is Awakening a great start to a season of Black Ops III DLC, or does the season sputter out the gate?
I hope the zombies isn't a continuation of Shadows of Evil. I don't like the drawn-out levels like this. Give me the older round based map designs like Der Riese.
