Ken McKown writes: There are a lot of LEGO games. That said, it feels weird that this might be the last one I ever review. With the release of LEGO Dimensions, it feels as if the annual flood of licensed LEGO titles may finally be done. There is now a platform that can host all of these games in one central location. LEGO Marvel’s Avengers feels like TT Games knew this. The game feels like delivering on a commitment to put out an already announced game, when they were clearly done with solo releases. This is by far the sloppiest and most disappointing game in the franchise in a long while.
The Humble LEGO at the Movies Bundle just launched today. It includes nine different games on multiple operating systems that you can redeem and play on Steam. As always, a portion of proceeds from the bundle supports charity.
The Humble LEGO Built to Build Bundle just launched. It features games like LEGO DC Super-Villains Deluxe Edition, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Premium Edition, LEGO Worlds, and more. A percentage goes to support charity.
Paul writes: "In this trip down memory lane, I'll be looking back at the 2016 release of LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, all with my rose-tinted glasses sitting firmly in place - you see, my son and I were great fans of the films that this game was based on, Avengers Assemble and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and that means there is much love for the LEGO-based gaming titles."
