The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD launches on Wii U with sharper visuals and improved textures. But Nintendo has also worked with Twilight Princess HD port developer Tantalus to streamline some of the title's 10 year old gameplay.
These guys actually say what I said in another thread. They did some things well and the image is crisper but the grass and ground textures are the same and unimpressive. Game is going to be awesome regardless. But I wish they spent more time updating the textures and environments. However all the added content that this game is coming with especially if you have the amiibos is awesome and will be a lot of fun to play. It's been so long since I played this game too that it will be like playing it again for the first time.
Well look forward to the grass in Zelda Wii U, it's amazing! :) The updated textures and clean image in this makes more than a small difference. Twilight Princess HD is in 1080p for those who don't know or computer screens don't support it.
You're right. It is petty to complain about grass when there is so much added value in this HD version
No, in the article they don't say what you said. You said that they didn't change much of the textures asside from shifting the shaders or colors around to create the illusion of change....
Stalker much. They said that the picture was very crisp but the other stuff really looked about the same. Get over yourself dude. Maybe get a job or a pet? Might I suggest a pet rock? That seems good for you at this point
That's a lot of work, plus it'd be hard to add new grass tech. It is a valid thing point out though, but it's far from a game breaker, which to be fair neither you nor Eurogamer are saying this. Overall I'm pretty excited to play the game again, and I can't wait to get my Wolf Link/Midna amiibo next month.
You can clearly see a lot of texture improvement (as well as a lot of completely reworked textures) on this video: http://www.ign.com/videos/2... So, I disagree with you.
It's about time you need to realise you just read what you want to read. And you're wrong. Doesn't matter. We all have said stuff in the past that turned out to be nonsense. But then we man up to it and move on. The improved texture part is VERY obvious. As is mentioned in the article and in every other article.
Those are pretty good improvements to go with the updated visuals. I know people are complaining that it still doesn't look that good but this isn't a re-make its just an HD port. Unfortunately, semi-realistic graphics from 10 years ago do not hold up well. That being said, the game looks really smooth and I'm excited to replay this. I bet this is the type of game that looks and feels so much better once you get it home and test for yourself.
