Review: Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel | Destructoid

DTOID:
Even though I still have no idea who most of these characters are, that didn't end up mattering to me in the end. Nitroplus Blasterz is a fast, smooth, strategic, and generally entertaining fighting game that has found a happy medium between accessibility and depth. Provided a decent-sized community builds around the game, this is a fighter I could see myself enjoying for a long time to come.

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel - PC Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel is a 2D fighting game that has recently received a PC port. The fighting roster is taken from various nitroplus titles, or associated franchises, and what you get is basically an anime stylized fighting game with what could arguably be one of the most niche character rosters in an English speaking country. That being said, I recognized at least half the cast, including the support characters, so I guess I’m fairly niche as well. Don’t let the full female cast mislead you though, most of the playable characters are either primary or secondary protagonists, or antagonists, in their respective series, and I’m pretty sure at least four or five of them would be considered “top ranked assassins”

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel Review - Gaming Respawn

GR Reviewer Will Worrall says:

"This is a fun little tournament fighter clearly intended for fans of the various anime, manga and light novels from which it borrows characters. Although the fighting is a little difficult to grasp at times, it’s very fun and fast paced, and the extra mode stapled on is charming and funny. You’re likely to have fun with this game, whether you enjoy fighting games or not."
