There are many potential pitfalls involved in crowdfunding unrealistic cost projections, backer backlashes, failing to fulfill overambitious rewards but I bet this wasn't one Tereshinski had anticipated, especially since these frivolous partiers were also his trusted friends of 11 years.
In the online rpg market, developers may have had goals that were too lofty and could never be reasonably achieved. Perhaps a competitor beat a company to the punch and released a similar game first. Then there's the lurid spectacle of the Ant Simulator cancellation that happened at the very end of January. The fall of the ant-based game reads like a soap opera with broken friendships, legal threats, booze, and even strippers all thrown into the mix. Yet is there something that gamers can glean from this train wreck?
Hard to keep track of all the upcoming releases these days.
But this could have been cool I guess.

Ant Simulator is a thing that people have been talking about this week and honestly, it’s so cringeworthy it hurts.
