Fans can rest easy knowing that they aren't making changes involving eye-liner and turning the Prince into a My Chemical Romance fan. They are returning to what Prince of Persia should be about, adventure, and they are even delving into the actual mythology of ancient Persia (now Iran), Zoroastrianism, for the plot.
The adventure begins with a new Prince, a wanderer, a vagabond, in so many words, who is returning home from an adventure on a mule laden with treasure. But suddenly, he is caught in a fierce sandstorm. When the storm subsides, he finds himself in a mythical garden of beauty, dominated at its center by the massive Tree of Life. The Prince and a girl, Elika, find each other, and, in the same predicament, decide to help each other.
