My wife has family in SD and it’s one of the more boring drives in the US. Going through Kansas , Nebraska and Oklahoma is probably the most boring trips I’ve done, it’s almost perfectly straight for several hours zzz. Western and eastern parts have some beautiful drives but a lot of the Midwest you need something to keep you awake.
