my opinion on smoke has completely changed on smoke as time has went on. he's very useful

Utalkin2me3377d ago

Yeah smoke is a nice defender, has quick setup time and allows him to roam very early.

Mute on the other hand has the longest setup time out of all the operators if played properly, well bandit too. Set your jammers down to block drones, then turn around and pick them up and place them at re-inforced walls etc.

What is always true is that a Lone Wolf tends to not last very long.

It can be a valid tactic though to have one floater moving about freely while the rest of the team stay with the objective. Earlier on 'Plane' I tied up two enemy players by engaging them soon after they entered the aircraft slowing them down considerably and we went on to win the round as the clock ran down. Some maps don't work so well but on maps like 'Bank' and 'Hereford Base' I sometimes wander up a level higher than the objective and then time the enemies movements and come back down the stairs behind them. You can get cheap kills but the disruption to the enemy as it throws them off guard can help your team a lot. Of course everyone running off and leaving the objective is a disaster :)

I am a lone wolf. But i do it because team requires it. I kill all 5 a lone and help in many ways. Lone wolf is like a secret weapon for the team if used right.

I try to help the team if possible but in the same time try not to risk my self.

It's kind of a better team work if done right..

Damn I love this game now. Hated it at first, but now I cant get enough.
Its strange how a game with such little content keeps me going for hours and hours on end.
Havent experimented much with Operators yet, but I like anyone Spetsnaz because I like their scopes.

It's like a slow moving train wreck..

Rainbow Six is actually a great IP for something like this. I'm assuming it's likely similar to XCOM, and that would be a perfect fit for R6.

I’m always excited for a good turn based strategy game.

PapaBop21d ago

Agreed, I'm excited to see how it turns out, hopefully they do Ubi it up.

DodoDojo21d ago

It's my favorite game genre so I'm sold already.

Relientk7722d ago

It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.

Obnoxious MT shops might not go with a game like this. Are they sure they want to make an actual game?

SpacedDuck22d ago

Another game that will launch, flop and result in people getting fired.

Just shut up and make a new Splinter Cell and stop milking Siege and make a new Rainbow Six 3 style Rainbow Six game.

S2Killinit22d ago

Do you sound this annoying in real life?

Michiel198921d ago

their turn based mario games were pretty good

Inverno22d ago

That actually fits the series quite well
