So apart from contrast in textures. Not much. Again. fps is the biggest difference.

ARESWARLORD2998d ago (Edited 2998d ago )

The textures in the lighting quality are the biggest part of how a game looks man. On top of that this game is running 60 frames a second full 1080p or higher resolution with insame textures and lighting there is an absolutely huge difference between this and the Xbox one version. I have an xbox one I'm not trying to be a PC elitist even though I do own a PC I'm just saying give credit where its due

your wasting your time here matey. I love my Xbox One, I played & completed TR & it was amazing. I got an Nvidia code & played it on PC & its so much better. AA, Lighting, Textures. & most impotent 60fps, but until these people actually sit & play a PC version they wont accept it. What makes me laugh more is they seem to be able to tell the difference between 1080 & 900 fps but they cant see these other massive differences..

Higher Texture Quality
Higher Resolution
Higher Framerate
Better Anti-Aliasing
Horizontal Based Ambient Occlusion Plus
16x Anisotropic Filtering
Full use of Tesselation
Increased Geommetry and Level of Detail
Dynamic Foilage and increased foilage density
Increased Hair Strands in Pure Hair
Increased Shadow Quality as well as Sun Soft Shadows
All this plus supported features like multiple monitor support, DSR/VSR and G-Sync/Freesync...

Don't get me wrong, they did an absolutely fantastic job of this on the Xbox One and there is nothing wrong with it at all but don't even try to imply that the difference is minor.

Dark_Crow2998d ago (Edited 2998d ago )

I'm a pc gamer. So I can't disagree with you but you do sound like an elitist.

Any pc gamer knows what 60fps is like and how much better it is then 30 so I didn't feel the need to give credit to the obvious.

It is also clear to me that graphically although superior it's nothing to be amazed with at all.

When you enjoy a game you forget the jaggy edges or awesome visuals.

Freedomland2998d ago (Edited 2998d ago )

The difference is clearly visible but still if you have already played it on the xbox, i think you don't have to spend money again but if you need better experience go for it.

BossBattle2998d ago

Why does the Xbox One version look so blurry even compared to other comparisons? Beware of people that sabotage comparisons in favor of their favorite gaming device. I've played it on the X1 and it looks way clearer and more crisp.

GearSkiN2998d ago (Edited 2998d ago )

mehh not a huge change.. you are competing with console... were PC can change things... not worried i bought this game on xbox one.

MCTJim2998d ago

I will add the brightness or contrast is a little high being shown on the X1..it looks nuked. I'm sorry but even DF's comparison doesnt make it look that nuked

audiocafe2998d ago

I'm playing the game on my PC at 1440p Max settings, 60fps and it's great, however before seeing the PC version and these comparisons I was very impressed with how the game looked on Xbox One. Now that the PC version is here it looks obviously better than the XB1 version but I still think the XB1 version looks great running on console. The game actually looks better than the video shows in my opinion. These compressed videos don't really do either version the proper justice.

Kind of a goody story...

On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.

Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.
