There seems to be no end to Nintendo´s censorship madness in "Fire Emblem Fates". In the matter of fact, Nintendo keeps on adding more gasoline to the fire by removing the petting mini-game feature from the Western version of "Fire Emblem Fates". That´s just the half of it though. So this is my (Robin Ek, The Gaming Ground) take on the matter.
Today, Korean developer Shift Up, known for Stellar Blade and Goddess of Victory: Nikke, announced its financial results for Q1 of 2025
Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution launches summer 2025 on modern platforms—20 years after its original development was shelved.
Glad they didn't change the art style. This is looking good.. Why did they change the way the characters look anyway? The very first style was kind of ok, it was fine by Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse.. both in game sprite and the dialogue popups, why keep changing it? I am not as fussed on her newer look. She's looking kinda too dark or sunburnt now.
Today, Marvelous Entertainment announced its financial results for the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2025.
I didn't even know Farmagia was a Marvelous game, I wish we could get that Senran Kagura S7ven game, but Sony/Playstation pretty much killed any chance of that happening.
does not matter
@Eiyuuou
I thought I recognized that name from somewhere.
"It appears as if Kotaku lied about the whole thing about Nintendo censoring "Fire Emblem Fates". So once again Kotaku has been caught lying for clicks..."
What does this mean? Is the Western version going to receive the silly minigame?
These leftist media sites have reached a new low. Only a matter of time before Kotaku gets sued like Gawker.
Hello to all! Im just starting my career as a videogame journalist writing for kumazoku. I wanted to write about this whole FE issue. But instead of writing the same thing as everyone else, I wanted to get various gamers opinions. I am used to videogames taking things out because what's okay in Japan, is not seen as okay in the States. It's cultural differences which is a major issue from a business standpoint. So I'd like to know which one do you think it is? Is it cultural differences or flat out censorship? If you are really passionate and want to share your opinion please send a message with first name last initial telling me your thoughts! Thanks :) Live, Love, Game On.
