Hey Poor Player's Alex Lupella writes - "Are you done groaning yet? Good. Dinocide prides itself in being retro. Stop Groaning. Self-described as a NES inspired old-school platformer, you can pretty much guess what you’re getting out of the whole thing. One look at the screenshots and I immediately thought Joe and Mac or Adventure Island. At this point in most reviews I’d tell you you’re wrong to limit the game, but unfortunately, you aren’t."
Dinocide is an 8-bit themed platformer game that will bring back fond memories to gamers that have enjoyed some NES classics. There are two game modes: the campaign and a speed run. Speed is important no matter which mode you choose because the main character constantly needs to be fed to survive!
Just in time! I've just finished Far Cry: Primal and I need more caveman games now!
COG writes: 2016 is already in full swing and the relentless pace of game releases hasn’t slowed down one bit. February was yet another amazing month in gaming but with every fantastic game there were a few stinkers. Welcome back to our monthly feature where we give you the three best and three worst games of the previous month.
I honestly thought Bombshell was going to be amazing considering the pedigree behind it. What a total let down!
Layers of Fear is hell of scary! I went through a whole pack of adult diapers in one sitting.
I'm so ashamed.
Garden warfare 2 was the best game released last month, the incomplete mess of sf5 should be on the worst list. Maybe when some more content came out
From the review: "Dinocide isn't a bad game but it isn't particularly noteworthy either. It has a couple good idea but the platforming is fairly rudimentary and very derivative. With a few content updates it might become something better, but as it stands Dinocide feels like it's still stuck in early access."
Looks like a poor man's Adventure Island.
