The Australian ratings authority has rated Paragon.
Coming out soon?
In the Alpha game is Epic, pun intended ;)
NDA son, NDA. You agree for a reason, just saying ;)
What exactly did I give away? Nothing ;)
I signed up for the beta (i think). Anyone know when the PS4 beta will be?
You didn't read i did you? they ask you not to speak of anything you've experienced in the beta, which includes if you liked it or not.
The game looked very much rated T so that's weird.
We barely saw any game play lol
But we saw it and it didnt seem violent at all, just seemed like a standard moba.
Paragon doesn't look like a typical moba, look at the camera angle.
A F2P M rated game will not do Epic any favors.
Cursing in video games has always come off as silly to me. Especially when the F bomb is dropped too often. It doesn't offend me, it just feels immature. Of course, it depends on when and why it is included in dialogue.
Did it feel silly in Tlou? Depends on how it's used, i'm an adult so i prefer adult games.
Cursing when playing a game shouldnt be as surprising. ;)
Glad it's M, typically developers shy away from M bc they're afraid it will hurt sales. I hope Horizon is also M.
what will an m rating add to the game? some extra blood splatters or some f bombs? i dont see how that would make the game better. Noones afraid of making M rated games which should be obvious because of how many released last year but a game should only be M if they intended for it to go that way and not just make it M to make it M. that was the case with Arkham Knight, they made the game and it ended up being M but not because they forced it.
You're wrong, devs are afraid of the M rating. I was talking to Mark Norris of Guerrilla Games and he told me that there was a power struggle between the creative ppl and the suits on whether to make it M or not. He specifically said he didn't want it to be M bc he wants the game to hit certain sales numbers and he wants the hard working devs to get bonuses. He thinks M will hurt sales. Do you mean to tell me TLoU and The Witcher 3 would've been the same experience rated T? I don't want every game to be M, but in the industry far too many games compromise their artistic freedom in order to hit some target rating. I just take it as a good sign that Paragon is rated M. When a game is rated M it usually means the writers and developers didn't have to hold back. They were allowed absolute artistic freedom. I'm not saying every T or E rated game is compromised, but when it's M we know the likelihood is less.
Mmm I see, but think that for mobas the market is a slightly younger audience or at least a good portion of it which is why they wanted to make it T, that's as far as what I've seen. I have no actual clue what they have ik Ind for the game to make it rated M. I can really only see it being some animations because I'm pretty doubtful it has a mature story to tell which is why its weird to risk a loss just for that.
DOUBLE KILL!! errr I mean BITCH SLAPPED!! Rated I for Immature
