Life is Strange Limited Edition

Life is Strange was initially released digitally in five episodes over the course of 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In January of 2016, a boxed version containing all episodes was released for the same platforms. A limited edition containing some goodies was also made available.

The limited edition comes in a paper box made to resemble a scrap book, with in the center a polaroid photo of Max Caulfield, the game’s protagonist.

The Limited edition looks great and comes with some nice extras and is extremely cheap, if this released a month ago, I would have bought a couple copies as Christmas gifts.

Bought it, love it, highly recommend it

I might have to pick this up. Been wanting to finally get into this game and to have the whole season plus some extras seems like a fair deal. Not really into art books, but the soundtrack might be fun to listen to.

I have this, its a suprisingly great game. I like it very much. All episodes All on disc, not a code. Sound track CD and a very very cool art book. Not expensive either unlike limited editions as you would expect.

I wish it had been more influential within it's own franchise, other than the first game it's been one terrible game after another, at this point it looks like they had a stroke of luck and nothing else. Also, most of what LiS does had already been done on Telltale games about your actions having consequences in the development of the story, the best part was the time manipulation gameplay, that was fantastic, but again it's not too dissimilar of Prince of Persia time manipulation on the original trilogy.

It was, but walking sims aren't as big now.

Is this a joke? LiS wasn't a bad game but it didn't really do anything that Telltale hadn't already done before it. And to insinuate that without LiS we wouldn't have gotten Disco Elysium, Baldur's Gate 3, etc, is just ridiculous. I get it, you love the game and that's fine, but don't make it out to be more important than it is. I'm not saying it didn't influence anything at all, it just wasn't remotely to the degree the author is insinuating.

No one at Larian played LIS, they're too busy playing DnD and dueling with fake swords in their sparetime

the og ?

CrimsonWing69128d ago
