Carl Williams writes, "There is a trend in homebrew development that involves taking modern ideas and making games for classic platforms. We have seen this most prominently with Bejeweled style games being released on Game Boy Advance and other platforms. With Ninja Savior we see another mobile game style being released for a classic platform. The MSX computer is home to a new “jumping” game. On mobile these are known as “wall jump” games and are annoying as all get out to me. Ninja Savior takes the annoying parts of wall jump games and removes them altogether, leaving a new take on a boring concept."
