PlayStation Store sale discounts Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, Bloodborne DLC & more (EU)

Sony has launched a new sale on PlayStation Store offering discounts on a range of PS4 games, including last year's hit action-adventure Bloodborne, walking sim Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, and neon-arcade shooter Geometry Wars 3.

Other highlights include the PS4 ports of Flower and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Transistor, Octodad and Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, along with a few games that have previously been available for free as part of PlayStation Plus. If you missed them last time around, now's as good a time as any to pick them up.

Bloodborne's DLC pack, The Old Hunters, has been reduced by up to half price as well.

The Bloodborne DLC pact is fantastic. 50% off here is a steal.

Volkama3431d ago

Pfffft maybe for people with real Playstation 4s, Rookie_fraudster!

Tales of Zestiria for £20 is good. Quite annoyed that I just picked it up on disc now. I'm on a bit of a JRPG splurge, anyone know if Natural Doctrine and/or Disgaea 5 are worth picking up?

Mr-Dude3431d ago

Buddy of mine swears by Disgaea...

MegaRay3431d ago

Tales of Zestiria is a steal at £20.00, any action JRPG fan should check it out.

Is it really that good? Read a lot of negative reviews...

MegaRay3431d ago (Edited 3431d ago )

It is really that good. The camera in battles were a b*tch and co-op can be a little pain, but the story, characters, music and gameplay was awesome. It start slow but the more you play the better it gets (gameplay and story-wise) and it better to solo the game.

Most likely that people who review the game only played like 10 hours and just wrote the article (I dont blame them, but in a JRPG, 10 hours is like 30% of the game), or just some old fans who didnt like changes. Besides JRPGs never get high scores, unless its a popular franchise.

I dont want to spoil anything, so I didn't get into details, but if you want to know more ask away.

Mr-Dude3431d ago

Thanks for info!

How works co-op? And average playtime?

MegaRay3431d ago

Co-op is a little pain for the second player since the camera dont follow him, Player 1 has to adjust the camera for player 2, and other controlled characters arent as good as the main character. After 12 hours or so, the second player will finally have a good character to play as.

You need 40-50 on your first playthrough to finish the story. Sub missions and hunting skits gonna take more time. There's a "free" expansion DLC which will give you 5 hours of gameplay or so.

I played the game 150+ hours and only finish second playthrough, there is ton of content.

It a shame that reviewers only played a small amount of JRPGs and then give them bad scores because they didnt like what they played. I can understand in other genres but they have to give JRPG games more time in my opinion.

I highly recommend Divinity: Original Sin.

Literally couldn't put the game down once I started. Honor mode is a great challenge.

Why a Bloodborne Sequel Could Never Be a True 'Bloodborne 2'

If FromSoftware's Bloodborne ever gets a sequel—and that's a big if—it won't be able to simply pick up where its predecessor left off.

probably due to some.of the endings true.

but u can still continue it on and subsequently end it for good.

The_Hooligan10d ago (Edited 10d ago )

I wonder if they could do a prequal where you play as part of the first hunt and see the blood research and the downfall of the healing church and the remaining hunters.

zaanan10d ago

That is a super great idea, I would 1000% pay full price for this! Only if Miyazaki directed, obviuosly. Bloodborne hooked me in a way Dark Souls never did.

Yep, that’s me! LOL

poppatron131d ago

I disagree, within 6 months the remake will be announced, it’ll be out in 2026 or the end of this year.

oldenjon131d ago

I don't know why they'd do something 3 years after the fact unless it represented some new conflict of interest though.
