Tom Clancy’s The Division has an engrossing world that’ll eat up all your free time | GB

GB:
I’m a little scared of Tom Clancy’s The Division. I’m already playing so many other time-consuming open-world games, and I’m not sure I can fit another one in my life. But after trying it at a recent preview event, I just have to try.

It obvious to see you've been drinking way to much that Ubisoft hype koolaide ! Ubisoft loves to over hpye thier games only to disappoint upon release. We've already seen the down grades in The Division and waited over three years for this game It is brimming with Ubisoft disappointment.

Please tell the jury exactly where Ubisoft touched you.

objdadon3021d ago

The "downgrades" argument is those who think that graphics are everything or actually believe footage at e3 is 100% what you will see on your console. I've been gaming way too long to get caught up in that nonsense. I definitely like good graphics but if the gameplay is horrible then it doesn't matter. From the early hands on, it seems to be a good game. We shall see.

let me know how the melee takedowns are....

So all these people who played the Beta and really liked it drank too much as well?! Guess they sell that stuff in game!

ninsigma3021d ago

Can people not just be excited for something for once??

Khaotic3021d ago

Not if person A doesnt like it or doesnt like who publishes it. You cant like something @monkeyporn doesnt like cause if you do your a blight on gaming and the reason gaming is in the state it is now. Did i get it right?

ninsigma3020d ago

Aaawww damn. I didn't realise. Sorry guys, I'll do better next time!

mochachino3021d ago (Edited 3021d ago )

So the general impression is that the game is good but a graphics downgrade would make that not true.

The graphics look good, more important is that is runs smoothly, and most important is that the game is enjoyable.

Finally some one who gets its right :)

Would be nice of it is that kind of game (Fallout ). I love roming around not knowing what's ahead. But this is not survival type game, so it would probably play more like GTA. With RB6 type raids, which is good also.

JBlaze2263021d ago

As long as its not another Destiny BS that Bungie did. That game got so boring so quick.

Nodoze3021d ago

Same with Battlefront. People were saying how great the beta was for BF as well.

objdadon3021d ago

I don't remember a lot of praise for the battlefront beta, maybe from some major sites but actual gamers on YouTube weren't riding that wave. This time the feeling is overall positive from actual gamers. We'll see.

Sirch3021d ago

So several articles today and all the same sentiment - Division is a lot of fun.

It sounds like they all played the same thing we played in this alpha. Same content, but only a few hours access.

Its fun. Its different. Its an RPG with lots of group mechanics for both co-op and PvP. I'm looking forward to it. Bought a second PS4 for the wife so we can play it together.

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

shinoff2183381d ago

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno381d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Flawlessmic381d ago

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

Hofstaderman380d ago

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

Dagexon380d ago

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
