Scans roundup – Monster Hunter Stories, new Story of Seasons, Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlighted games include Hyrule Warriors Legends, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (3DS), Monster Hunter Stories, Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages, and Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. ugh, these screenshots do nothing to help show off the game at all. Here's a bad low res scan of a magazine page with images that are fractions of the size of the entire page..

They should have saved this for NX, and did a meaningful update all around, because it looks like it's a direct port from the GameCube with a simple resolution increase, yet a full priced $60 game.

They could have at least improved the textures throughout, upgraded the wood textures, water textures, rock textures and that alone would have done wonders. They could have added a fur texture to wolf link which would have looked much better. They could have added more foliage to areas while upgrading the quality of the current foliage textures and that would have looked much better. They could have added a HD skybox to make the sky and clouds look up to date. And they could have reworked the lighting.

Next time hire Bluepoint.

sounds like any "HD version" that appeared on PS3/360 or even XB1/PS4. Pretty sure they just bump the resolution and framerates up on most of those games too.

They can't all be done like Wind Waker HD was.
