Battlefield 4 player goes on solo helicopter rampage, finishes 109-0

This is probably the best helicopter pilot in Battlefield 4.

I'd be more impressed if it was hardcore. His skills are good for sure but in normal your vehicle repairs itself. In hardcore you have to do it yourself. It's not as impressive. But his flying skills are rock solid.

More an extreme example of how OP'd choppers have become in BF. A good pilot is almost untouchable, and that should never happen in a well-balanced game. But of course every time DICE threatens to do something about it, the chopper-whores go nuts, start blabbering about "realism", etc. Nevermind that they're talking about a game where they can jump from their chopper, parachute down with an RPG and jump in a tank.

Something along the lines of what I was thinking. If you had someone experienced even with just a ground to air missile launcher you could trick him into using his flares early then launch a missile hopefully making a direct hit and taking him out.

thats how these things almost always go...i've been a regular with BF4 since release...and granted, that pilot was talented...he was also alone...the only real issue is when a good pilot has a good gunner...then, i understand where its more of a grey area as far as good balance...

but sadly...these kinds of runs come up in the forums every other day...and the bad part; the game gets balanced around them...

siege is the ONLY map in the game where the AH has a chance...every other map, forget it...yet the team getting slammed almost never brings the tower down...that is basically unpreventable by the team with the AH slaughtering...and after it happens, there is the boat, and a half decent burst guy in the boat can wreck the ah from almost anywhere...that pilot made runs to the tower, then across the bay, over and over depending on caps...he wouldn't have made a single pass if a single enemy had ended up in the boat that knew how to click on moving things...

yet...DICE LA will balance the AH around that specific problem...for a 6th time...for all scenarios and maps...and its a mess...

That pilot probably spends 99% of times on 24/7 siege servers...posts videos of its prowess...it gets attention...but i'd love to see him in an AH...alone...on golmud or something...

Lol that other team must have been full if duds.As soon as I see any pilot go on a 10+ streak I pull out my stinger and make him crash ;).

It's siege, you don't even need the stinger... Just detonate the building's 4 pillars with a tank, RPGs or whatever so you can watch and laugh as that pilot panics without cover and getting hit from across the map by the newly spawned boat.

I hate having to waste a slot with Stinger only to see that chopper guy crash, then I eventually get killed by a tank or other ground vehicle, so I get a more useful ground missile only in time for the chopper guy to be back.

No you wouldn't. Anti-air missiles are a joke in this game, and especially on maps like this one with so many obstacles to fly behind.

With the latest patch, igla misile velocity has been increased very much and it does 50 damage. There are a lot of times that when i lock an enemy helicopter from very close, there is no way escaping the hit. Flares and ecm are useless against igla in short distances. It is super fast. Try it.

It doesn't matter how powerful anti-air missles are. The point of using them, is to stop pilots from going on rampages just like this.

If this guy was in my game, I would have sat myself on top a building and IGLA-locked him for the entire game. Make him chase his own tail the entire time.

The ONLY reason why this guy got a rampage like this is because the enemy team virtually ignored him.

So many times where he could of easily been killed by a SMAW or RPG... Other team is just terrible and nearly all have negative KD which says a lot.

Fact that battlefield is all about K/D ratio ruins the game. Instead of teamwork, everyone only care about their individual stat. Rainbow six Siege almost got it right.

Piloting skills aren't all that hard to get. Who is on your opposing team is what makes all the difference in BF.

Also, this is PC. Trying doing this on console.
