I simply don't get this game at all. I kept dragging my feet on buying it and my friend ended up gifting it to me because he was so anxious for me to join in the fun. The graphics are...meh at best. And it runs just..just...I mean, ugh, awful.
I mean like set it to "medium" on a system with an i5 2500k OCed to 4.3 ghz & a GTX 970 and cross your fingers for 30 FPS. And not really stable either. Had to slap the bloated 40 GB install on my boot drive SSD because load times were honestly the worst I've ever come across to even get to the menu screen. It seems far to banal for the regular effusive praise it receives. And yes. The pooping is just so freaking weird.
Obviously nothing will ever be amazing for everyone, but most of the time I can see where people are coming from even on things I don't like. I can't manage to see it on this one though.
