Alex from GamersFTW writes "Surprisingly, the outlook for PlayStation Vita’s line up of games in 2016 looks rather promising. Though the majority of the games are multi-platform releases rather than true exclusives, the fact that there are some genuinely exciting titles coming to Vita this year has the crew at GamersFTW feeling very cheerful! There are countless great Metroidvania games available on the Steam Deck — Max Wright for overkill runs through some of the very best.

Love the newest Strider! Definitely underrated.
Love these lists as i now want to check out Momodora (on PS extra) and Ender Lillies.

Only tried the demos for both and mighty 9 looked atrocious. Megaman 11 was fun and polished. Never played both full versions but will see it they are on PS Extra when i get home.
Mostly get my megaman fix playing the azure gunvolt games and spin offs. And Maverick Hunter X on my Vita.
It's a good lineup, but not enough to convince me to pick up a Vita. Great little handheld, but it just doesn't have the library in my eyes to justify getting it.
Im looking forward to Mighty No. 9.. that game looks awesome and Inafune is a God!
Vita actually does have some brilliant games ..they just aren't AAA games.
Ps2 emulation would make more sense on vita than ps4 I think. Games like gta, all capcom series like omnimusha, devilmaycry, resident evil 4, maximo..and all the great rpgs..
Most of these are on PS4 too.
