Hard to beat this

Love that Sony Europe STILL put that PS4 logo on the top left hand corner...let me guess is the PS4 logo on the spine and back aswell /s

I'm pretty sure the Logo, "Only on PlayStation" and the Name of the game is Not on the steel box itself but on a 2nd "slideable" plastic cover, Same thing I got with Beyond Two Souls' special edition for the Pal region!

Anyways i'm with you it doesn't look attractive and imo doesn't do the game justice. Will be getting mine from Amazon US.

Some of them are though and other times when you have a slip case they still put the logo on the box.

So they put the logo multiple times on the actual steelbook but the title is on the slipcase...doesn't make much sense right? Untill Dawn for example, take the slip case off and it's just a blueish bland steel with only the logo on them.

Yeah I don't get that.

It's like they don't understand that the reason people collect steelbooks is for the design, and any additional marketing fluff on the steel itself is ugly and unwelcome. Having the PS4 logo and "only on playstation" tagline is pointless and really shows how disconnected they are to why people want steelbooks. Third party publishers seem to do a better job of steelbooks than Sony. One of the best steels in my collection is the Alien: Isolation. A slipcase with all the branding on the outside and the steelbook itself with no branding. It's lovely: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

I've also noticed SCEA always print nice looking spines with the game logo, which looks awesome on a shelf, but SCEE can never be bothered - it's mostly plain text.

You want to know why I think SCEE are lazy...it's because they know that because we are Europe they need to translate the Steelbooks. The slip covers usually get traslated for other counties but never the actual steel unless it's made for that country as an exclusive.

Very lazy in my opinion.

I'm hoping if the UK ever gets out of Europe they'll bundle us together with America when it comes to releases and the like.

I really loved the steelbooks for the Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight this year. I'm not really into statues, but man do I love steelbooks.

It would be nice to get that in the $120 Collectors edition that I preordered.
