Square Enix is planning to open a new virtual world in Japan this month. You won’t see any monsters, moogles or chocobos in NicottoTown.

This virtual world is populated with nice looking characters and real world activities like shopping, etc…

This join project between Square Enix and Nifty – and Internet Service Provider in Japan – is aimed at a different demographic.
