I'd rather they'd be focusing on DL2 instead of this dlc that's come 6 months too late.

Yui_Suzumiya3467d ago (Edited 3467d ago )

You mean Hellraid? That game was announced before Dying Light and put on hold to do the DLC for Dying Light.

nucky643467d ago

no. I mean I'd rather they'd be working on the sequel to dying light.
also - I thought hellraid was cancelled -is it still possibly coming?

Yui_Suzumiya3467d ago

No, it's not cancelled at all. It was just put on hold temporarily so they could focus all their efforts on post launch content and updates for Dying Light. Hellraid will be back in full swing and completed next year.

nucky643467d ago

that's great! after they changed the engine, hellraid was looking really good!!

Are you kidding me?! The amount of work Techland has put into this game for fans is incredible! Just be thankful

Nobody bought it for an obvious reason.

Wtf did this edition come with ? A real helicopter and a real zombie virus ?

Vithar120d ago

For one lucky person willing to spend $386,000, the My Apocalypse Edition of Dying Light promised a staggering collection. It included the buyer’s face in the game, a human-sized ‘Volatile’ statue, and parkour lessons with a freerunning team. It also came with night vision goggles, an all-expenses paid round trip to Techland’s offices, and four signed copies of the game. Oh, and it also came with a custom-built, ‘zombie-proof’ survival shelter.

LOL but it was a stunt from the team:
‘It was a PR stunt and got a lot of media attention for its wild and over-the-top nature, it was designed to generate buzz around the game’s release. It did a great job of getting the game noticed, though! But nobody purchased it – thankfully, I guess!’

I finally beat DL2 this past weekend. I’ll pick up the Beast for sure.

It got a lot of shit from fans more not being as scary at night on release. I was in that boat. But once I gave it a fair shot I really loved it. The movement was so much more expressive to me. I enjoyed the story too.... for the most part. Was my game of the year when it came out. With all the updates for darker nights and all that, it's even better. I feel almost exactly the same about stalker 2 right now. The erojank games are scratching my itch.
