Dan Miller writes: "The procedurally generated world of Kim is viewed from a top-down perspective and although the artwork is fairly basic it does showcase a great deal of character. Laguna Levine writes: " I'm not here to put down any position, but rather praise games that push the boundaries in new, interesting ways, not just in terms of race and gender, but perspective, and IndieCade 2017 had a lot of diversity experiences beyond simulated dystopian futures."
