Shinji Mikami voiced the character Takahashi in Fallout 4

"If you have played Fallout 4 you might have met a Robot in Diamond City by the name of Takahashi, he simply says nothing besides "Na ni shimasho-ka?" ("May I take your order"). Turns out he was voiced by Shinji Mikami himself. Watch this short clip by Ikumi Nakamura as Mikami records his line."

I don't know what that meant but hopefully that meant ' The Evil Within 2 CONFIRMED!'

-Foxtrot3436d ago

That or a spiritual sequel

I liked Evil Within but the voice acting/dialogue was pretty bad.

I'd rather see something new.

I really loved The Evil Within not because of the Voice Acting but because of the brutal gameplay and the survival elements in the game. Going through a chapter with only 2 bullets left in my weapon on the hardest difficulty was one of the most tense things i have ever did in my gaming history.

Honestly, i loved the story in the dlc more than the main game and if they can built upon that then we can have an amazing sequel just as long as they keep the difficulty.

And also the characters needs to be more fleshed out, i mean Catellanos had a really good and depressing backstory and i wish we could have seen that in a flashback or something.

Oh I know. The gameplay was good but I did think the voice acting and structure spoilt it abit with the fear and tension it was supposed to build up

Sebastian had a depressing backstory but wasn't even touched upon and his reactions to the enviroments were terrible. Be scared, scream, shout just do something then being a plank of wood.

I also hated how if you met up with someone you would go through a small gameplay section AND THEN a cutscene would play where the partner freaks out over what's just happened. So one minute they are fine then they need to wait untill the cutscene for a reaction. Have they forgotten that characters can speak while you are walking with them.

Great horror game but the reactions, voice acting and the like really dumbed it down. I mean I know Resident Evil had hilarious voice acting but it's 2015 now...at least try.

I would honestly want him to do a game like Resident Evil. A group of people within a huge residence (Tower, mansion, castle etc) but with vampires instead. Kind of like the vampire virus seen in films like Daybreakers.

DarkOcelet3436d ago

The mansion sequence in the game would have been amazing if it hadn't been ruined by stupid Ruvik appearing out of know where, it was the best part of the game and i hated rushing it because of him appearing.

Yes, it was tense but come on! They choose the best part of the game that should have been there for us to explore rather than rushing it.

The thing about The Evil Within is that vampires would make sense because its all in your head, part of your imagination so if they did a Castle sequence then a modern place sequence, it wouldn't feel out of place because of the concept.

And honeslty, i like Castellanos and want to see more of him, if Mikami made a sequel and started it with him in a dream about his daughter caught in the house fire, i wanna see more of that. I want him to hit me right in the feels.

Also there are questions needs to be answered like why the hell is Tatiana(The nurse) was beside Kidman at the end of the game and is Myra(Castellanos wife) working with Mobius or not?

Depends how pushy Bethesda are going to be. He didn't really want to do Evil Within but Bethesda said they wouldn't fund the sci fi game he wanted.

He made an amazing formula in The Evil Within and i want to see more of it.

Him making a Sci Fi game would be sick but honestly, i wish he would do a sequel.

I just finished The Evil Within and now started on the DLC. I loved the main game and it wasn't frustrating like people pegged. I wish you had weapons in the Assignment though. Kinda dragging the experience down for me a bit.

Fallout 4 on Switch 2 seems inevitable, but what about Starfield?

A Fallout 4 Nintendo Switch 2 port seems like an inevitability, but what about other Bethesda RPGs like Starfield.

I think all games will end up on switch from Xbox. MS has embraced going to other platforms now if games aren't doing well on Nintendo MS may be more selective in the future

On playstation they have been quite successful

anast41d ago

I'm not sure too many people want to play Starfield.

Profchaos41d ago

Phils all but confirmed they are going in hard with the switch 2

All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.

Starfield is actually a RPG. Bethesda hasn't done that in a while.

GhostScholar143d ago

People acted like starfield was so less interesting than fallout and drastically different, but I call bs on that. Both are decent games, but they are both filled with the appearance of things to do and items to interact with but 99 percent are just there to be there with no significance. Fallout has better character work but they are both sort of illusions that they’re vast.

Studio has been going downhill since Skyrim. Every following game gets dumbed down more than the previous. I'll be shocked if Elder Scrolls VI even has dialogue options.

anast142d ago

Fallout 4 was bad, real bad. Starfield might even be a better RPG.

trez1082142d ago

Fallout 4 wasn’t a great fallout game per se but real bad? I don’t know maybe I’m a little biased because I replied it not long ago and had fun with it.
