Because nobody wanted it and almost everyone hated it when they showed this title during the E3.

As a Metroid fan I actually would like to see it being delayed and completely changed to a real Metroid game. OR to a title that has nothing to do with Metroid anymore, including the name.

You wanna know what i think, i think they have done this game just to keep fans a bit patient for their Metroid debut on Nintendo NX.

I think a Next Gen Metroid is gonna be sick and it could be a launch title.

This game is a kick in the nutts to the Series.

The game would be fine IF there was a real Metroid game also releasing. But to release a sport spin off to a franchise that hasn't seen a good new main entry game in a decade was insulting.

Or maybe even better yet ... have this just be a bonus multiplayer addition to a main Metroid game.

It's called being ashamed... at least they know what that is.. unlike EA and Konami.

It looks retarded, and Reggie is a moron for believing this is how you "think different" with a series.

With about a 90% dislike ratio on the trailer on the video, I personally think they may have quietly canceled it.
