I have to agree, as we just got the Super Mario Maker Delux system with Wind Waker, Xenoblade, Yoshi, and bunch of retro games. Love watching Sunday/Monday night football and playing on the gamepad. Just ordered the official battery pack upgrade for the WiiU GamePad.

If you're hard up for cash, I'd wait to see what the NX is (and we really don't have a clue). If you have the cash and like Nintendo first-party games, wait until the Zelda 2016 bundle is out. If you have the cash and absolutely love Nintendo first-party games, it's a good purchase.

Im with you, if you dont already own one then would be kind of stupid to pick one up now. Just buy the NX in 2016 and any WiiU game you missed just play it on that.

I know Nintendo loves having BC but there are rumors that NX will be something very different which could eliminate the possibility of having BC on the system.

It might possibly be the cheapest nx platform. Once the nx is released the value will speak for it self. It's still up in the air if the wiiu can be used with the nx so we will have to see. Game wise almost everything has been released and it has been a good gen. If you haven't played most of its games then you have missed out on some great content. Truthfully the nx with everything together is going to be expensive. Unless you can use the wiiu to replace the supplimental unit.

Bayonetta 2 and the Xenoblade games are top class games. Last Story and Pandora hearts was also some pretty harcore experiences. There are not many but Nintendo still makes a few new hardcore games. Hopefully Nintendo will continue with these IPs.

Nintendo has also released Splatoon, Wonderful 101 and Hyrule Warriors. Also just because a game contains mario doesn't make it the same game, there are still being made new games with new gameplay containing mario.

It may not be enough for some, but saying that Nintendo only makes the same games and never brings something new to the table is simply wrong.

Great system of course the online is meh and dated but I plug mine into my Xbox One and chat on there. Splatoon is a killer MP game and you are really missing out if you don't try it IMO and Mario Maker is awesome as well. The system has by far the most variety out of any this gen so far...so much quality that just gets ignored because the thing does not play 3rd party games, which really are not living up to the hype. I really wish Nintendo would step there game up when it comes to online and took advantage of VC.
