Virtual reality is finally being released, but over half of UK games stores think that it is not going to take off in 2015.
55 per cent of shop managers believe that the new tech is not going to be a hit in 2016, with many saying that they predict it will be a fad akin to 3D television.
39 per cent of stores said they thought VR could take off, but only on the condition that the companies behind it like PlayStation, Oculus and HTC properly support the new tech and market it accordingly.

Lol, maybe I'm becoming an old fart, but excessive violence in VR seems to bother me more than in flat games. Feels more visceral when you're looking a person in the eyes before mutilating them.
By no means am I trying to be a prude and saying these games shouldn't exist. I just play them more sparingly, need more breaks. I need some beautiful, refreshing & relaxing VR experiences too to balance them out so I don't feel so heavy.

IMO, there's two that are better than all these (except maybe Beat Saber), Thrill of the Fight and AUDICA.
And it has nothing do with most games probably will be digital only....
I'd be inclined to agree. While I do think VR will gain traction and grow into a viable option for many I can't see it becoming anything more than a niche product for the next few years.

Totally agreed with the majority of the stores here. Was at PSX over the past weekend and managed to get my first hands-on with PSVR. From my experience and talking to many of the fans at the convention, the majority said they are taking a wait and see approach and not impress with it right now.
