Bandai Namco released a new screenshot of Ace Combat 7, while the writer and composer have been announced.

Originally launching nearly five years after Ace Combat: Infinity and four years after the 3DS release Assault Horizon Legacy+, 2019's Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was the first game in the mainline series for over a decade and brought the series back to Strangereal, the franchise's fictionalised Earth stand-in.
Now, five years further on, Bandai Namco is bringing Skies Unknown to Switch in Deluxe Edition form.
Lol, for sure! It is surprising though that they never added the VR to AC7 on Steam though. It was SO good, I had wished they would have done the whole game like that, or at least add some bonus fights later. I replayed it so many times even though it was only 3 missions.
Same, I’m hoping there’s a new Ace Combat8 and it also has vr capabilities that the entire game can be played on PSVR2.

Not a Tom Cruise fan but Ace Combat is a fun game. I don’t buy skins so I didn’t know there was a Tom Cruise skin and I was fine without knowing and you ruined it for me! Jk but I could have lived without knowing
The only ace combat I played was the free to play one. I might pick this one up.
Ace Combat 3 on ps2 was the best.
A few days ago I said that I hope since they are going back to the fictional world and leaving real world location, they would something of a continuation of Ace Combat5: The Unsung War. Now I see that the story writer and game music composer from AC5 are returning for AC7. Still hoping its AC5 story being picked up a few years after the war.

Gosh i hope they return to this storyline and also have controllable wingmen. Namco/Bandai needs to make a remaster of AC5 and ACzero.
