Apple TV is still not striking a cord with gamers despite offering console experiences such as Guitar Hero Live, Disney Infinity 3.0, and Rayman Adventures.
Impossible!! The media told me this would kill off traditional game consoles!
Seriously. That was the biggest joke of 2015!
RIP consoles. You guys had a good run, but the Apple TV blew you chumps outta the water.
@GigawattConduit, introducing, rickety third-party controllers, and a revolutionary feature-shallow nintendo nun-chuck ripoff.
Good apple is bad
Guitar Hero and Disney games are system sellers apparently!!
While I don't think those things would be system sellers for core gamers, for parents looking for a cheap option to buy for their kids, it could be. The games cost the same as they do on console, but the entry point for the system itself is a couple hundred bucks cheaper.
Maybe but kids know what they want usually which is also usually what their friends have(which is usually one of the big 3) Man I don't usually use the word 'usually' this much!!!
This failed........my flabber has never been so gasted.
Had it since launch and it has to few games. Bring good games to it and it could be a good micro console.
Are you using the regular remote or do you have a third-party controller?
I use both. Some games the remote is actually preferred. But the third-party controller is nice for longer sessions. But need more games! And the price is a tad high I think..
There was an Apple TV? And it had games? I had no idea. Not that I would have cared.
That's one of the main issues. Very few people -- outside of ones that keep up with Apple's every move -- knew about it. It was poor marketing out of the gate.
There was a flurry of articles on how Apple was going to take over gaming with this thing, even though Apple themselves never seemed to have any such ambition. Gotta love the games media!
I think this is what you're looking for. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Wait...you mean that a product with the apple on it isn't selling good?! Blasphemy! ;)
The product is selling fine, its the content that's not doing so well, people are buying this and using it like the 3rd gen Apple TV
No thanks, I will stick to my consoles for gaming!
