Lost Planet sells 20.000 copies in Japan on first day

Since yesterday another high-anticipated game has hit the Japanese stores; Lost Planet. Today the first salesfigures have been revealed, saying that the game sold a little more than 20.000 copies on the first day.

Although it is absolutely no bad result for a first day, it just seems that Microsoft can't do anything good in the Japanese eyes. Despite games such as DOAX2, Blue Dragon and Lost Planet being released in the same month, sales figures are still below average.

Hmmm, I think Microsoft have pleased the rest of the world already. Sony pleases Japan halfassed and F***s the rest of the world. 2 million units sold by the end of the year...yeah right. 1 million would be an achievement.

Just goes to show you. Japan is warming up to ms just a little bit every other year. I'm sure in 5 years or so when the new wave a consoles come out Japan will be ready for ms

By the time it has it's first price drop, in 6 months to a year, (which Sony can't do for a couple years), there will be several 360-exclusive games that will appeal to the Japan market. A $250-$300 Premium console, and several quality Japan-centric exclusives....they won't be able to ignore it anymore.

jajajaja, ms pleased the world, thats why they charge their consumers double and wont edmit it.. and why are you all diffending ms like bill gates is doing your moms?? in 5 years ms is goin back 2 making software for sony like sega same faith same dastany hohahahahaho.. and soon will see lost planet coming to the legend ps3.
