HYPED!

This is officially my most anticipated Ace Combat game since Ace Combat 3.

Also hopefully the story is like Ace Combat Zero. I loved the interaction between Cipher and Pixy in that game and hopefully we see something like that here.

some of the jets have design mistakes (at least the Su27ub /30 and probably the F18s in other shown pictures) ...i hope they take care them and depict them accurately in the final product because its a damn Ps4 this time and all the details are noticeable

S2Killinit3459d ago

Loving the fact that its on PSVR. Its going to be Sweeeeet.

<<Krakin1's hit by a disagree and trailing smoke. Whose kill was that?>>

Make it great again, Shattered Skies is seriously one of my favourite games ever made!

Kyosuke_Sanada3459d ago

Would be cool if Mobius One does make an appearance. I guarantee you that Edge Nagase will.

DigitalRaptor3459d ago

Hmmm "photorealistic visuals" in VR? Can't see that happening.

Then again, we have a Gran Turismo game coming to VR. I'll wait until I see the footage.

Originally launching nearly five years after Ace Combat: Infinity and four years after the 3DS release Assault Horizon Legacy+, 2019's Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was the first game in the mainline series for over a decade and brought the series back to Strangereal, the franchise's fictionalised Earth stand-in.

Now, five years further on, Bandai Namco is bringing Skies Unknown to Switch in Deluxe Edition form.

No labo VR support though... that is one of the coolest features of AC7 on PS.

OtterX320d ago

Lol, for sure! It is surprising though that they never added the VR to AC7 on Steam though. It was SO good, I had wished they would have done the whole game like that, or at least add some bonus fights later. I replayed it so many times even though it was only 3 missions.

Abnor_Mal319d ago

Same, I’m hoping there’s a new Ace Combat8 and it also has vr capabilities that the entire game can be played on PSVR2.

purple101491d ago

MaximusPrime_491d ago

I never consider Ace Combat as related to Tom Cruise or his movies..

AnotherGamer491d ago

Then again, they did put the Top Gun DLC in the game lol.

Luc20491d ago

Great game but even on easy is too challenging after the first few missions. Couldn't progress and gave up

BillyCrystals491d ago

Ya, the timer kept ****ing me. Timers in games are almost always a fun killer.

Not a Tom Cruise fan but Ace Combat is a fun game. I don’t buy skins so I didn’t know there was a Tom Cruise skin and I was fine without knowing and you ruined it for me! Jk but I could have lived without knowing
