COG Writes: Plantronics newest PC headset is modular in design, allowing it to be one of the most comfortable headsets on the market while still providing quality sound, and all for a fair price.
Plantronics has announced the RIG 300 Series and RIG 400 PRO HC gaming headsets, delivering superior immersive, lightweight and durable audio engagement that can help gamers gain a competitive edge in battle royale arenas.
This looks like a very interesting set and it will be fun to test it out as Plantronics has revealed their Rig 500 Pro series gaming headset.
A new line of headsets to compliment Microsoft's upcoming console
I'm in the market for some new gaming phones... I'll add these to my research list
Seems strange to see a Plantronics device that isn't a bluetooth earpiece, but ok!
I've been meaning to try out a Plantronics headset for a while. I may save up for this particular one!
I don't know how to comment on these things without sounding like an elitist douche, but there is MUCH better sound out there in the price range if people start looking at solutions that shy away from the whole..."GAMERZ!! EXTREME! HEADSETS!!!" market.
For one, all this 7.1 surround sound crap is nothing but a marketing ploy. Specialized software and mixing plays a MUCH bigger role in producing 3D sound than a few more crappy tiny drivers can hope to achieve.
