Sony's PlayStation 4 console is designed to display games on big flatscreen TVs. But come next summer, you'll be able to add a virtual reality headset and explore game worlds in a full 360 degrees. It's called PlayStation VR.
What you need to know: we still don't know how much it will cost, or when it will be available.
I want them to announce you can stream any game from PS4 to it...
Yeah. That's a big concern to me. But they were saying that games have to be very stable or else it'll cause motion sickness/disorientation. The bottom line for me is: If it can't play other ps4 media, I'm probably not gonna buy it right away.
@SegaSaturn669 Give me the option and if I get sick I won't use it...
everyone goes on about date/price/look and the tech specs. I want to know the lifespan of this product the health risks involved with it and the battery life. The playstation eye never went anywhere but has loads of wasted potential. Playtation vita vr card system again little support. ps move lasted what a year?.
The move controller isnt as waisted as you suggest, its being used for PSVR. As is the ps camera. But the difference between those devices and VR is that VR sells itself. Its got massive potential.
There is not bateries. It's connected to a processing box that supplies it's power.
As long as its less than 450 im going to buy it on day one.
You just need to experience it. That's the problem. People haven't played it yet.
Exactly. People always will want to try it before they buy it no matter what it is they're looking to purchase. I'm sure Sony will work something out, public testing or something of the sorts. I hope something works out so we can see how it runs and feels.
I need to know if you can watch movies on it.
Biggest questions are still unanswered. -Release date?? -How much is the device and will Sony offer different bundles with games meant for kids, adults, casual, hardcore? -Will every version include a game like Wii Sports came with the Wii? -Where can we try it out? -How much are the games? -Recommended play time and minimum age -Are there any health issues we need to worry about like dizziness, nausea, eye problems, neck problems and more? That goes for all VR devices, not just PSVR.
I really want to play that zombie cap driver thing. Looks like a more Insane "crazy taxi". And ACE COMBAT!!! I really hope VR does not make me sick ^^
