Samira Wiley Stars as Michonne in New Walking Dead Series

i just dont get this project.. why even bother calling it michone to begin with ?doesnt look like her, isnt played by her... just piss off and make season 3 already... clementine>michone anyways just saying

It depends on where your fandom for Walking Dead starts. If you are a fan from just the TV show, then that kind of makes sense. You have a face and voice already and don't want it ruined or changed. However, in the graphic novels there's a face (doesn't match the one from the show) and the "voice" is more of an overall tone that is a bit different from the show.(of course I don't mean audible...the way that she speaks) There is a LOT that is left out of the Michonne story in the TV show and it's quite interesting stuff.
At any rate, if you are a fan of her, then any information and new story is welcomed. Even if it is a totally NEW story.

fair enough... i was just a bit salty that we get this instead of season 3... i guess some people would love to see more of michonne but i want more clementine and i dont get why all of a sudden we are delving into canon walking dead characters instead of the fantastic characters telltale has already made up and that im sure are largely responsible for the game sales they have garnered in the last few years due mostly to how great the first couple season of their TWD was
