Dementium: The Ward was a Nintendo DS game developed by Renegade Kid and published by Gamecock back in 2007. Now, eight years later (wow), Renegade Kid has revisited the game, polished it up, addressed many common criticisms, and released it on the 3DS eShop. How does this first-person horror game stand up in 2015? Surprisingly well, but it still has its issues.
Reviews 2 Go just finished up the 3DS remake of Dementium: The Ward. Here are their final thoughts:
"Dementium Remastered is every bit as creepy as the original game was on the DS. While the repetitive environments and wonky controls don’t do the game any favors, the improvements and new features make it a worthy purchase for horror fans. "
An abandoned hospital? Blood on the walls? Zombie monsters? Creepy little girls? Mad doctors? Never seen any of that before!
