VRFocus reports on the news that PlayStation VR's launch window of H1 2016 has recently been reaffirmed by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE).
Great ad, heres the link to the new extended "The Wonderful like of a PS4 Gamer" https://www.playstation.com...
I just killed too much time playing with that video - it's awesome!
LOL thats EXACTLY how my mornings start. (: btw: is that COD? looks nice! I haven't owned a COD game in so long I don't even know whats going on, it looks almost Killzoneish
I watched the VR part. There may be upcoming internet drama over the way a certain guy held the gun.
Huh? I must have missed that. What do you mean Agent?
I had to pause the video and click the circle of the guy in the VR headset. Edit - it links to this. https://youtu.be/cw6x80Qdza...
That's awesome news, 2016 is going to be one hell of a memorable year for gamers.
I could never understand why they wouldn't release this right before Christmas, would have destroyed in sales if it had been released within the last two weeks
The only reasons to wait are a lack of software to show what the platform can do and a price point they are afraid would have a negative impact on console sales. There are quite a few people jumping in at the $299 price point for a PS4 today in anticipation of PSVR. If Sony released a price point of $399 for the device it would turn some people away. If PSVR is at the lower end of the scale at $199 it would be smart to announce it so people could pick up a PS4 now. I'm leaning towards Sony being afraid to release the price since it's on the higher end of the scale.
The more consoles they have out there, the more they can get this into peoples homes.. Next year is a good time to launch.. There might be 40+ million units sold by then
I believe Sony might hit the 40mil milstone by March which will be great for everything playstation. The more units sold the more varity will will get in our games, the more risks the company can be at liberal to take. Finally I believe Playstation VR will come out between May-Aug as this give developers ample time to spend with their new ip's before release.
Can't wait to use this with all horror games.
